LOH CONTEST #104 // Back to the memory lane

Hello my beautiful ladies on this amazing community, hope you are all doing great in your various places. it's good to be here again. This week, the Hive account@ladiesofhive community send us back on memory lane but when I first saw the question I don't know what to write about. I think for about a day, because 50 years ago my mom is still a maiden, 40 years ago I have no idea about the world and well 30 years ago I don't have any memory of that and that is why I decided to settle for 20 years ago. But still the memory is so faint because it's been a long time and I'm still a little girl.

20 years ago, what do you remember as a woman -vs- what is happening in the world today. One memory and what the change has been whether positive or negative.

Going back on memory lane, back to 20 years ago I was still a little girl who care about nothing other than her food and novel. No time to think about unnecessary things except for food and novel and at times playing with my neighbors, then I hardly have friends because I stay with my grandma and she always told me that too much of friends cause too much of trouble and I tried to stay out of trouble.

Then, Mobile phone is not that popular and if we want to make call we have to go to a call center to do that. Mobile phone was so precious then, and only rich people can afford it and if you dare touch your parents phone without permission you are in trouble.

I remember a day when my dad asked me to bring his phone for him and I got too excited holding the phone and I forget that he asked me to hurry and not to press his phone because he is doing something on it. I got carried away with the phone that I forgot the warning not until I heard him calling my name that is when I come to my sense. Hell want to fall that day if not for the help of my uncle that plead on my behalf.

But now things have get easier, even three years old kids own a phone that is hard for an adult at that time, technology make it easy to do anything, we no longer need to buy a lot of books before reading all that is needed is a phone and data then you can read to any length unlike before that we will pile up the books in a shelf, knowing what is going on around the world is possible with your phone, make it easy to communicate with my family and friends without needing to wait for like a week before getting a reply like the time of mail.

it is a good changes because it makes life easier and to pass information quickly, even though it have it's own negative side, the advantages is more than the disadvantage.
