Supposedly I was about to share this achievement the other day but the phone signal is not quite good again.
Last November I have challenged myself that if I can win a contest from the hive and earn extra I will be rewarding myself with something unusual. So, I was thinking if what is the best one for me. While scrolling my feeds on Facebook I saw a random friend posting a rattan bag and I know for myself that I've been wanting that bag ever since but there is something that stopped me from buying it because you know being in an average family you always think first your family needs especially for the kids but all thanks to the hive and the community that I joined and to my upvoters of course for making it happened.
Yeah, I was one of the winners in the past 
I converted my Hive saving and so I message the seller to order the bag and gladly she responded to me and made the agreement for ordering. I pick the most attractive rattan bag for me and I was so undecided because of a lot of very nice designs but I choose to pick the black one so it would not get dirty easily. I made a half down payment of 400 pesos (7.80$) upon ordering and agreed to fully pay if the item arrived.
Supposedly the item will arrive earlier at end of December but we were hit by the strong typhoon and cut the signal and electricity supplies. After having the power back I was informed by the seller that the item was lost in track and she'll just inform me if she can fix it. Fortunately, she messages me the next day that she got the item already and is about to deliver it to me.
She delivered to me my order and luckily I still have saved money for the payment.
Now, I have fulfilled my dream bag. I had my very first expensive bag for 800 pesos (15.62$) and for those who don't know about rattan bags.
Rattan bags - is a bag crafted from hand-woven straw, the pliable stem of a rattan palm or bamboo.

The difference between rattan versus bamboo is that rattan is a solid material, very flexible can be bent even it's hard and grows as a vine while bamboo does not bent, is hollow inside and grows straight up as a tree.
Rattan is a naturally renewable palm that grows in the tropical region of Asia and other countries and is used for furniture, handicrafts and building material among others.
For others, 800 (15.62$) pesos is just cheap but honestly, for me, it was really the expensive one I bought so far all thanks to the hive and my generous upvoters. I'm not really fun of collecting bags as long as I have something to put my phone and wallet on when I go somewhere I'm good so I'm happy to have this bag for I can carry my phone and wallet confidently now because I was so forgetful.
