What's the dumbest thing someone has ever tried to do to win you over?
When I was a child, there were children who did strange things. In one song, a boy wore sanitary napkins and a chain. All with the intention of winning them over. However, it only caused my parents to get extremely upset.
Time passed and when I was 15 a young man much older than me began to court me. He made an effort to show up at every party I was invited to. And he only danced with me. I liked that because before that, nobody asked me to dance.
On another occasion, I remember a young man kneeling before me, asking me to attend his 18th birthday party. That bothered me, but it also gave me a bad feeling. How could a young man entering adulthood want to date a 15-year-old girl?
As a young woman, I thought and saw life very differently. I was insecure and had low self-esteem. I also had an inferiority complex. I had significant emotional needs. With this in mind, I would like to answer question number 2 of this initiative.
If you could travel through time, would you go to the future or the past?
I would definitely travel to the past. If I could give myself advice, I would tell myself that even if I make bad decisions, I will always find a way to move forward. I would encourage myself to learn how to manage my emotions. It would help my past self understand that I shouldn't stop writing my poems. Because that will only delay the publication of my first collection.
I would encourage her to hug her dad and grandma more because they will be leaving early. I would also teach her how to be strong when the children leave home, so it won't hurt so much after they get married and forget about her.
I would teach myself to spend more money on my own needs, to learn to put myself first, and to pay attention to the opinions of others. I would tell my past self not to give up. May he continue to move forward after achieving his high school diploma.
I'm sure I could walk with greater strength in this future.
It's been a pleasure sharing this activity with you all. I invite my friends and
