A manera de introducción
Este fin de semana tuve la oportunidad de compartir entre queridas amigas, sentadas en una panadería comiendo dulces, tomando té y coloreando en papel kratf, mientras conversamos de
"Crear juntas es más fácil"/"Creating together is easier.
nuestras vidas, trabajos y proyectos, entre tanto, les comenté sobre mi experiencia en Hive y a medida que me preguntaban, me daba cuenta que en este corto tiempo la plataforma me ha ayudado a fortalecer algunas de mis capacidades.
Considero que a propósito de la conmemoración del Día Internacional de la Mujer este 8 de marzo, es importante continuar concientizando sobre el uso y apropiación de las tecnologías para aminorar la brecha digital, que aún persiste desde la perspectiva de la desigualdad de género en algunas partes del mundo. Sin embargo, plataformas como Hive ayudan a ofrecer opciones de acceso a universos de posibilidades tanto a mujeres como hombres, mediante una experiencia colaborativa y retadora.
This weekend I had the opportunity to share with dear friends, sitting in a bakery eating sweets, drinking tea and coloring on kratf paper, while we talked about our lives. In the meantime, I told them about my experience in Hive and as they asked me questions, I realized that in this short time the platform has helped me to strengthen some of my skills.
I believe that on the occasion of the commemoration of
International Women's Daythis March 8, it is important to continue raising awareness about the use and appropriation of technologies to reduce the digital divide, which still persists from the perspective of gender inequality in some parts of the world. However, platforms such as Hive help to offer access options to universes of possibilities to both women and men, through a collaborative and challenging experience.
Cada experiencia es propia, aún así espero que la mía sirva para que quienes están recién aterrizando en Hive como yo, continúen persistentes y motivadas porque Hive es el futuro y ya está aquí, por eso comparto 10 formas de cómo me ha ayudado a fortalecer mis capacidades en el mundo digital:
Each experience is unique, yet I hope that mine will help those who are just landing in Hive like me, to continue to be persistent and motivated because Hive is the future and it is already here, so I share 10 ways it has helped me strengthen my capabilities in the digital world:
1. Autodidacta:
Desde el primer momento que me recomendaron Hive investigué mucho hasta que logré la apertura de la cuenta, sincronizar los datos, planificar y crear los primeros contenidos según quien soy y lo que hago, pero todo no termina allí, sino que inicia una larga etapa de estudio para comprender la plataforma y adentrarme en su universo.
1. Autodidact:
From the first moment I was recommended Hive I did a lot of research until I managed to open the account, synchronize the data, plan and create the first contents according to who I am and what I do, but everything does not end there, but it begins a long stage of study to understand the platform and get into its universe.
2. Ir más allá:
Soy una mujer muy introvertida, bastante reservada y penosa, no obstante una vez realicé la presentación que es la primera publicación recomendada en Hive, recordé cosas que había olvidado sobre mis talentos y habilidades, además que desde entonces me fluye hablar desde mis experiencias. Me atrevo a preguntar, pedir ayudar cuando es necesario, interactuar y agradezco a quienes han estado allí para ayudarme.
2. Go further:
I am a very introverted woman, quite reserved and embarrassed, however once I made the presentation that is the first recommended publication in Hive, I remembered things I had forgotten about my talents and abilities, plus since then I flow to speak from my experiences. I dare to ask questions, ask for help when needed, interact and thank those who have been there to help me.
3. Mundo de opciones:
La plataforma dispone de guías que son aporte de los creadores y creadoras de contenidos, quienes recomiendan herramientas o aplicaciones digitales, traductores, editores de imágenes o vídeos, formas de citar fuentes para respetar derechos de autoría, entre otros. Yo al principio tenía dificultad en el acceso a Internet, hay que tener claro que se requiere tener conexión constante, pero esto no es problema cuando se evalúan distintas opciones como datos móviles, asistir a lugares donde hayan conexiones de wifi libre o solicitar apoyo de amistades o familiares para el uso de Internet, lo más importante es resguardar la seguridad de contraseñas en dispositivos de confianza.3. World of options:

At the beginning I had difficulty in accessing the Internet, it must be clear that it is necessary to have constant connection, but this is not a problem when you evaluate different options such as mobile data, go to places where there are free wifi connections or request support from friends or family to use the Internet, the most important thing is to protect the security of passwords on trusted devices.4. Escribo lo que pienso:
Amo escribir, es la forma donde mejor siento que me expreso, además de ser un ejercicio diario donde aprendo y me fortalezco cuando diseño mis publicaciones, que siempre están incentivadas por Hive en clave de valorar nuestro pensar y sentir.
4. I write what I think:
I love writing, it is the way where I feel I express myself best, besides being a daily exercise where I learn and strengthen myself when I design my publications, which are always encouraged by Hive in order to value our thinking and feeling.5. Nuevo control digital:
He aprendido a maquetar, lo cual consiste en ordenar texto e imágenes dentro de la plataforma que ayudan a presentar con originalidad las publicaciones. Esto no pudo ser posible sin la ayuda de la persona que me recomendó Hive, así como algunos tutoriales y guías prácticas.5. New digital control:
I have learned to layout, which consists of arranging text and images within the platform that help to present the publications with originality. This could not be possible without the help of the person who recommended me Hive, as well as some tutorials and practical guides.

6. Aprendo hacer comunidad:
En Hive me siento a gusto porque se aprecia y valora la creación de contenido, que se refleja en los aportes y comentarios constructivos. Para estar en Hive es indispensable participar, ingresar a las comunidades según mis intereses, entender sus reglas y se notará que cada una invita a la tolerancia, el respeto por las creencias, evitar polémicas, actitudes de odio, entre otros aspectos que invitan a: participar en concursos, comentar, votar, seguir a otras personas, prestar atención a los anuncios y actualizaciones.6. I learn to make community:
In Hive I feel at ease because the creation of content is appreciated and valued, which is reflected in the contributions and constructive comments. To be in Hive it is essential to participate, join the communities according to my interests, understand their rules and you will notice that each one invites tolerance, respect for beliefs, avoid controversy, hateful attitudes, among other aspects that invite to: participate in contests, comment, vote, follow other people, pay attention to announcements and updates.7. Prácticas colaborativas:
Para mi hive además de una escuela es una familia, con personas que me inspiran. He leído muchas preguntas y respuestas en comunidades y me agrada tanto la forma en cómo se aborda con respeto, sabiduría y madurez la asesoría de personas que ya tiene tiempo haciendo vida en hive, el interés común es que cada persona pueda crear contenidos de calidad, respetar y ayudarnos mutuamente.7.Collaborative practices:
For me, hive is not only a school but also a family, with people who inspire me. I have read many questions and answers in communities and I like so much the way in which the advice of people who already have time doing life in hive is approached with respect, wisdom and maturity, the common interest is that each person can create quality content, respect and help each other.8. Más allá de monetizar:
Estoy convencida que hive es una plataforma que no se centra en el tema de monetizar, sino que exige creatividad, autenticidad en la creación de contenido e interacción con el mundo. Por lo que además, he necesitado aprender sobre el blockchain, que no es sólo un sistema de intercambio en criptomoneda para descentralizar el control de intermediarios, donde cada persona sea partícipe del proceso de bloques, es decir se basa en la confianza; a su vez transciende el tema económico hacia proyectos que quieren descentralizar otras industrias de servicios médicos, sociales, gubernamentales, musicales, derechos de autoría, entre otros.8. Beyond monetization:
I am convinced that hive is a platform that does not focus on the issue of monetization, but demands creativity, authenticity in the creation of content and interaction with the world. So I also needed to learn about blockchain, which is not only an exchange system in cryptocurrency to decentralize the control of intermediaries, where each person is a participant in the process of blocks, that is based on trust, but in turn transcends the economic issue to projects that want to decentralize other industries of medical, social, governmental, musical services, copyright, among others.9. Los hombres también son mi apoyo:

Esto apenas es un largo comienzo, pero cada día aprendo nuevas cosas que me han ayudado a apropiarme de los procesos, a motivarme y a crecer a nivel mental, emocional a través de estas habilidades digitales que permiten alternativas de independencia profesional en esta grandiosa plataforma. Siento que, veo nuevas posibilidades que progresivamente me ayudan a fortalecer mis propios talentos y habilidades creativas que había olvidado por la rutina.10. I grow stronger:
This is just a long beginning, but every day I learn new things that have helped me to take ownership of the processes, to motivate me and to grow mentally and emotionally through these digital skills that allow alternatives of professional independence in this great platform.
