Some days don't need big events to be remembered.
Today was like that.
These are the ordinary snapshots this day that make up our simple, imperfect life.

Replanting The Squash
This morning, the weather felt just right. Not too hot, not rainy. My mother-in-law replanted her squash in the vacant space in front of our house. Planting is not just a hobby for her, she enjoys it with her whole heart. For now, those squashes may look simple, but one day, she will reap what she sows. 🥰

Simple Lunch
By lunchtime, I cooked vegetable okoy with kikiam, a simple, budget-friendly meal that works when you want something filling without spending much. ALECO didn't surprise us with a sudden brownout, so I was able to use our electric cooking pan without any interruptions. 🌷

Sudden Shift Of Mood
As the day was about to end, my son felt hot. I grabbed the thermometer and checked his temperature. And there it was, he had a fever. In moments like this, being a mother feels heavy. If only I could take the fever instead. But I should stay calm. He just needs more rest, more water, and a little extra care tonight. 🌸

So that's it.
My ordinary day. 🩷
None of these moments was grand, yet all of them mattered.
Until my next everyday snapshots...
Thanks for the visit! Have a lovely day. Buh-bye. 💗🌸
