To be precise, I chose the topic 'We women have phases in our lives where we experience hormonal imbalances, such as monthly menstruation, pregnancy, menopause. Not only our physical health, but our mental health is also affected.
And I have a reason for choosing the first topic, namely because I am currently experiencing my monthly period (menstruation) and this is entering its second day. And this second day was the peak day where my body got tired very easily, my stomach had severe cramps and I couldn't even carry out any activities because of this, not to mention my emotions which were really very sensitive. And I experienced this situation before I regularly drank herbs that I made myself and this really proved to be very effective.
For the past 3 months I have been regularly drinking a herbal drink consisting of turmeric, ginger, coriander seeds, lemongrass, tamarind black pepper and palm sugar. I just cut all the herbal ingredients and stored them in a container then put them in the refrigerator to stock for the next week. And every night I brew these herbs by taking 2 tablespoons of chopped lemongrass, turmeric, ginger which have been mixed together, then 1 tablespoon of coriander seeds, ¼ tablespoon of ground pepper seeds, palm sugar to taste, a little tamarind. Put the concoction into boiling water, then leave it until warm, after straining the concoction then drink the concoction.
When I'm not menstruating I drink this concoction only once at night, and during my current menstrual period I drink this herbal concoction twice a day, namely in the morning and at night. And do you know what impact I felt, my menstrual pain is now no more, the blood comes out very smoothly and my menstrual period which was originally 9 days is now 7 days. My physical condition also doesn't get tired easily and my mood is well maintained. There is no more drama of stomach cramps when I menstruate, and this drink has proven to be very effective. And you know this concoction is also enjoyed by my husband too, because this concoction really detoxifies the body and I use coriander seeds to maintain my cholesterol because every day There are only fried foods that I consume.
Then to maintain my mental health, during my menstrual period I reduce activities outside the home apart from work, because when I'm tired my body condition and emotions tend to be unstable, and I prefer to watch the growth and development of my plants because it's really good. to improve my mood and maintain my mental health.
