My family were here to celebrate Easter. We are not a religious family, but holidays are always a great excuse to get together for a wonderful meal and get caught up with what everyone is doing.
As she has in previous years, my daughter baked a lamb cake for us to enjoy for dessert.
It is baked in a mold and decorated to celebrate spring.
My son's wife made an Italian Lemon Cream cake that was delicious. It was the perfect ending to a meal that included ham, chicken and mushrooms, 2 kinds of potatoes, a chopped fresh vegetable salad, spinach cooked with garlic and croissants.
Oh, and because it was Easter there was an abundance of hard cooked decorated eggs and we turned a few of them into deviled eggs to go with the meal.
Because the photographers were busy preparing and serving the meal, I realized that there are very few food photos.
Everyone brought me flowers and I have taken plenty of flower pictures that I will show you tomorrow!
