When I was a kid, creating homemade May Baskets out of construction paper and then filling them with flowers and candy was a delightful tradition in our small town. My mom would drive me all over town to leave my fun filled baskets on the doorsteps of family and friends!
I received my first May basket in years today from my neighbor when she surprised me with this lovely greeting and a pack of basil plants!
My daughter celebrated May Day by making floral crowns for herself and her daughter to wear while she delivered May Baskets to their friends.
My granddaughter made a lovely May Queen!
