Winter in Wisconsin is cold and by mid February I am always longing for spring time. Before Christmas I bought some amaryllis bulbs in anticipation of this bleak and often dreary time of the year.
It has brightened my days to enjoy these beautiful blooms when it is snowing outdoors.
I gave amaryllis bulbs to family, friends and neighbors, too.
This is the one that I gave my granddaughter. Great winter time drama!
I'm looking forward to seeing the others as they begin to open!
