Some jobs are essential on holidays. Have you ever had to work on a holiday? If not, have you ever done something for someone who does?
I've had the habit of always working on holidays since I was little, but these days I already knew what was coming and I had to do it. Although instead of resting, I ended up working—well, I did rest, but in a different way. I rested in terms of school, which sometimes I didn't want the holiday to arrive, but it was inevitable, and despite my laziness, there I was.
The work experience varies from person to person because there are regular positions, where vendors are always selling or have designated days and locations. But things change when holidays arrive.
They're moved to different locations, and some even get paid depending on the holiday. There are also vendors who only sell at fairs and have a set route. For certain holidays, they sell at a specific location because, as they talk with others, they'll move on to another place to continue selling.
Some have even mentioned selling at several locations simultaneously. This is because they manage multiple stalls as a team or hire people to sell at other locations. It's great to see how hard they work and the different methods they use.
When I was there, there were times when the vendors helped each other out, for example, with electricity. Since the power outlet was often far away, they pooled their resources to provide enough light for their stalls. Other times, though, it wasn't always like that, and they would ask for a favor: a light. But this was usually for stalls that didn't use much electricity.
Also, as you made friends, you didn't always have change. You'd go to those people and ask them to help you get change for the large bills. Sometimes, though, there were people who only wanted you to give them change, but they wouldn't do it for them. That's wrong because it should be mutual support, not like every time I asked for change, they never did. And then there were those who just didn't get along with you—well, that's another story.
Then some really beautiful things started happening, like when they were eating and started sharing their food with others. It was such a kind gesture. Or they would get together to eat something better together, and that's where the strongest bonds of friendship were formed.
They also looked out for each other at the stalls. Some would even sleep at their stalls and watch over the others. There were even people who helped you take down your stall. There were many beautiful aspects of unity. Just as there were good things, there were also bad things, but in this case, I decided to highlight the positive aspects of these festivities.

Algunos trabajos son esenciales en días festivos. ¿Alguna vez has tenido que trabajar en días festivos? Si no, ¿alguna vez has hecho algo por alguien que sí lo hace?
Tengo la costumbre de siempre trabajar en los días festivos desde que yo era pequeño, pero en estos días yo ya sabía lo que se venía y tenía que hacer, aunque en lugar de descansar terminaba trabajando bueno si descansaba, pero una forma distinta, descansaba en cuestión de mi la escuela que luego a veces no quería que llegaría el día festivo, pero era algo inevitable y con todo y la flojera ahí estaba.
La experiencia para trabajar es distinta a cada uno debido a que existen los puestos que son de base, esos serían los que siempre están vendiendo o tienen sus días designados al igual que el lugar, pero cuando llega estas festividades la cosa cambia.
Los cambian de lugar además hay quienes pagan una cantidad dependiendo de la festividad, además de que existen ciertos puestos en donde solo se dedican a vender en ferias que ya tiene su ruta marcada que en ciertas festividades venden en tal lugar porque dentro de las pláticas con los demás comentan que una vez terminando aquí van a otro lugar a continuar con sus ventas.
Incluso han llegado a comentar que están vendiendo en varios lugares a la vez, pero esto es debido a que como maneja varios puestos en donde son todo un equipo o contratan personas para que puedan vender en más lugares, es padre ver cómo se esfuerzan y que métodos distintos llegan a tener.
Cuando me todo a mi hay momentos en donde entre puestos se ayudan como por ejemplo con la luz, debido a que luego está lejos la toma de corriente entre ambos juntan el material que tienen para que tantán luz en sus puestos, aunque en otras ocasiones no es tan así, en donde luego piden que, si de favor les pasan luz, pero para esto son para puestos que casi no consumen luz en su mayoría de veces.
También conforme hacías amistades luego no siempre uno tiene cambio en donde ibas con esas personas para que te ayudaran a cambiar el billete de dominación grande, aunque luego había personas que solo buscaban que les cambies, pero ellas no lo hacían, el cual esto es feo porque debe ser un apoyo mutuo y no que todas las veces que te dije que me ayudaras con cambio nunca lo hiciera o también quienes no se caían bien los ni hablar de eso.
Luego llegan a suceder cosas super bonitas como por ejemplo donde están comiendo algo y empiezan a compartir de su comida con los demás, es demás muy lindo por parte de la persona o se llegaban a juntar para poder comer algo mucho mejor entre todos que ahí es donde también se formaba los lazos de amistad mucho más fuertes.
También entre puestos se cuidaban porque algunos se quedaban a dormir en el mismo puesto ya cuidaba los demás puestos, incluso también para desarmar el puesto hay quienes te ayudaban, había muchas cosas bonitas de unidad, así como lo bueno hay lo malo, pero en este caso decidí destacar lo bueno de las cosas que suceden en estas festividades.
