As very rightly said V-Day is just not about couples. It is a day that celebrates the expression of Love. The Love can be for your spouse or for your friend or anyone who you feel this special bond with.

I am so glad that this V-Day I am going to spend it with the most special person in my life. Not my hubby, of course he is special and always around. But this special person is my bestie. It's been a long way that we both have come, a bond that has been built over the last 25 years. We both were settled in Mumbai together and were together almost all of the time. 10 years back she got married and moved on to UK and me to Muscat. From here on our paths got different but our hearts were still together.

We make it a point to meet once a year and spend some time together, living our own special moments with each other. I am so glad that she will be visiting me this Friday and she will be staying with me for a week, which means on the V-Day we will be together, and I am so excited about it. We will not be alone, just the two of us, because our husbands will be around, but we will be together and spending the special day.

This was the last time we were together

Since we will be together and I need to make it special, I am planning to do a day trip in the Mountains. She loves adventure and would love to do this type of an outing. Considering her likes and the place I live in, this is one thing she will enjoy the most. That would be for the day. At night I have plans to go for dinner to some place near the beach side. It would be a great way to end the day with a cozy meal by the beach side.

Our good times

Some relationships are very special and mine with her is the same. She is my Soul sister. When we were together, we always made it a point to spend this day with each other. I feel it's a blessing to have someone like that in your life where it's not a blood relation but still the bond is much stronger than that. As far as the gift is concerned, I have a surprise which I would like to keep it that way. It's going to be 7 days together and I have everything planned up of how we are going to spend our time.
