Growing up happens so fast for us all. One day you’re a baby and the next day you’re an adult having so many responsibilities on your neck. Being an adult isn’t an easy task at all. Sometimes we feel so overwhelmed we feel like we can’t keep pushing any further.

Personally, I’ve been there before so many times and it doesn’t feel good at all.Given the number of things I have to do on the daily basis and the activities I have to undertake, I mostly get home very late and exhausted. The little time I have to rest is also invested in more work leaving me with little to no time to rest. Sadly, life must still move on. I understand that it’s bad for my health and I need to do better, and so I’m walking the steps now.
A while back, I felt so overwhelmed because I had to carry so many responsibilities at work I almost broke down. It was so bad my family and friends had to sit me down and talk to me. I was actually doing more than I should do. The weight wasn’t mine to carry yet I had to because everyone was busy doing God knows what.
Eventually, i knew I was hurting myself and needed to get myself out of the messy situation. And so what I did was to talk to everyone, share responsibilities and lift the burden off myself. This helped me get the rest I needed and the peace of mind and stability I yearned for.
As much as working and going about your life is important, you also need to take good care of yourself including your physical and mental health.
