For the past two years, I have maintained a particular routine in my home that makes me dread Saturdays. Even my relatives know that calling me on the phone for a lengthy discussion on Saturdays may not yield the desired results unless it's a very important discussion, in which case I will lay aside my usual Saturday duties. can attest to that.

For this week's contest in the ladies of hive community, I would love to answer the first question, which says:
What would your perfect Saturday be like?
"From my perspective, there can never be a perfect Saturday, but some things we wish could be done on that day, like unusual things making it look different from what it used to be, then it can be assumed to be a perfect Saturday for us."

I have been a full-time stay-at-home mom for the past two years. This made me look into opportunities online where I can earn money to support my family while performing my motherhood duties at home. In order to achieve a better result in my online work, I dedicated Saturdays to be a day of massive home chores, which will then give me room to function effectively in taking care of my kids, my home, and my online work during the week. So every Saturday early morning,I do thorough home cleaning, organize things that need my attention, do laundry, and then move to the market to get food stuffs and ingredients for different kinds of soups and stews.
After spending a few hours in the market, I will return home to begin cooking. I will ensure to cook at least two soups and stews and have them preserved in my freezer. Sometimes I finish these chores at midnight or before midnight, depending on how the day turned out. These jam-packed chores usually leave me so exhausted and weak, but they usually give me a lot of relief in my kitchen duties throughout the week. This has been a cycle I have maintained for a long time, which should definitely need a review.
What then should my perfect Saturday look like?
Awwwwww, I will love to wake up in the Eko hotel by at least 10 a.m. with my husband alone by my side (my kids should be somewhere with their big aunt, lolz).. For those of us in Lagos State, Nigeria, you will agree with me that Eko Hotels and Suites is one of the biggest hotels in the city of Lagos, located at the heart of Victoria Island ποΈποΈποΈποΈ and shielded from the hustle and bustle of L ππ₯³. It's an international hotel where a lot of things happens. Accessing the hotel means plenty of dollars π°π, but do not worry, we are talking about my perfect Saturday here. Eko hotel meals is almost made in heaven delicacies and I will love to just lazy around with my husband while ordering the kind of meals I have been craving for.
The first day I visited my pregnant friend, who took a little time to relax over there in Eko hotel prior to her delivery, it was an awesome experience. I didn't know that the place was so beautiful as much. The environment is enough to bring back a wandering soulπ. It's just an ideal place for me to be and enjoy nature as well.
The cost of their meal per serving is big enough to serve my family for 3 weeks.
Still, on my ideal Saturday, I would love to experience a unique spa treatment, take a long shower, watch a romantic movie with my husband, and take a walk around the environment. Have a unique time with your husband without the kids. This has been my craving; I haven't had this kind of fantasy with my husband since kids started coming. However, I wouldn't request a more perfect Saturday than this, which my heart craves at the moment.
This is my entry to the Ladies of Hive community contest #140, and I would love to invite and
to participate.
Thanks for reading through.
