Hello everyone, dear ladies!
Today I want to join Ladies of Hive Community Contest #64.
I want to tell about one nice thing about myself!
And this one thing is my love of music and my ex-music life.
I love music very much and once played in a girl band on drums. 🥁
This is me when I was 16.
My band played light rock and consisted only of girls. Now this band has not existed for a long time. But while I was playing in it, we managed to perform in some clubs in Kyiv. I learned to play drums myself, I didn't even have a drum set at home, of course, I went to rehearsals and studied there.
The first 6 months since I first sat on the drums have been difficult for me. Imagine, I never played before and did not go to music school. In 6 months I mastered drums at the elementary level and continued to study. I could already play all the songs of the band, but not professionally enough (I kept the rhythm, but did not show off various drawings, because I could get lost). After a year of rehearsals, we could already apply for certain concerts. My first concert at the club was both a joy and a stress for me. But everything went great. I was very scared, I never went on stage, and I was only 17!
This is me on drums when I was 17 and we performed at the club.
Our next performances were also stressful for me, one day a drumstick fell out of my hand and I caught it in the air and continued playing! It was a shock. But we played all the concerts well!

This musical experience was very important for me. I was in the band for about 2 years. But then our paths diverged. Life circumstances led me to leave the band. After that I didn't play in bands anymore, although there were a few rehearsals with another band later.
After my teenage experience as a rock band, I started doing other things in life. And mentions remain in several old photographs. Unfortunately, almost no one had video cameras and smartphones then and there is no video with my rock band ...
I hope you enjoyed the fact about me that I chose for this challenge. Thank you all for your attention, happiness to all. 🙏
