Good day, people of Hive! Welcome to my blog. Today's topic is from Ladies Of Hive. So let's dive in.
Honestly, if I could have the power to create one law in my country right now, it would be the Law of Free and Fair Education. A law that makes sure every children can go to school and get a good education, no matter where they live or how much money their family has. Because I feel like education is the most important thing a person can have. Without it, life is way harder, and there will be a lot of disadvantages because people can take advantage of them, and opportunities become limited. But right now, so many children miss out just because their parents can't afford their school fees. This law would make it impossible for any child to be denied education.
The law would make sure that schools have enough classrooms, teachers, and learning materials for the children. Students would get free books and even internet access so they can learn properly. E.g building of computer rooms so that they will learn about everything they need to know.
This reminds me of my Senior Secondary School days when I was in SS2. Then the new governor in Ibadan, Engr. Seyi Makinde, when he became the Oyo State governor, gave all public schools textbooks from JSS1 to SSS3. He said he knows not all parents can afford textbooks, so he provided one big textbook containing all the subjects. We were told that when we graduate, we would return it so the next set can use it. That made education much easier for a lot of students then.
I would also make things fair for everyone. A child from a poor family would have the same chance as a child from a rich family. There would be no favouritism; everyone would have equal rights. When children are educated, they have a better chance of getting good jobs, starting their own businesses, and also helping people like them when they become successful.
In conclusion, this law wouldn't just allow children to go to school. It would give them a real chance to build a better future for themselves and everyone around them. Education is the key, and this law would make that key available to every single child.
