What is your favourite thing to enjoy during the holiday season, and why? so let’s dive in.
Honestly, my favourite thing to enjoy during the holiday season is sleeping and resting well. The reason is that during school time, I barely get enough sleep or rest because I always wake up very early every day. I’m always up by 5:30 to pray (morning devotion) and do my morning chores such as tidying up my room, fetching water into my bathroom, sweeping, etc., and before I know it, it’s already 6:30 and I’m out of my room getting ready for the lectures of the day. With this kind of routine, my body hardly gets enough time to relax. That’s why a holiday is something I really look forward to. It gives me the chance to sleep the way I want. I can lie down or sleep without rushing, and I can wake up whenever I like without having the fear of being late for lectures. All these really help me gain back my lost strength before resuming school.
Another thing I enjoy during the holiday season is having my quiet time to listen to music and read books. Music is something that always helps my mood. When I’m bored, I play songs that make me lively again. When I’m sad or tired, I play songs that cheer me up and give me strength. The truth is, music really works for me in different ways. I also love reading novels, especially when I don’t feel like watching movies. Sometimes reading just helps me pass time quietly. And when I’m not in the mood to read, I go for watching a movie instead. I enjoy watching Korean, Indian, and American movies a lot. I just love their movies.
In conclusion, the holiday season gives me time to do simple things that make me happy. Sleeping, listening to music, reading books, and watching movies are what I love doing during my holiday season, and they mean a lot to me. The truth is, I love sleeping a lot. If I am sleeping and someone disturbs me, I get angry because I don’t like people disturbing me when I’m sleeping. That’s why I enjoy the holiday season so much—because it gives me time for myself.
