Yes! Its been a while now, a long long time since I've seen all member of my family physically. Today we all sat in the living, early this morning and i couldn't be more grateful and happy too, everyone was present all six of us. I loved it.
Well, the current national elections might have been the major cause of this reunion, nonetheless, I'll take it as it came. We feel better together. The chit chats in the house has only gotten louder, lol.
What kept us away from each other in the first place? This will be the question on your mind. Well its Just school. Schools in different parts of the country. Two of my brothers were away in owerii, Imo state, while i myself was in Benin, Edo state. My parents remained in lagos with my youngest brother who is still in secondary school.
My brothers changed, mostly physically. It seems like they've been working out in school. The muscle tone didn't go unnoticed as well as the beards, I'm happy for them.
Their results also came out good, most notably my elder brother who had above 4.0 gp in school. He's done now and awaiting to go for service. That result is really something to look up to, it makes me want to do my best, if not for anything to meet up or even beat the results. I'm fired up cos of that. Anyways congratulations to him.
Dad's stomach got a little bigger, lol. I told him and we had a little laugh about it. Its good and he's still the same hussler and disciplinarian i remember, nothing changed much in the respite. Mom remained beautiful and somehow maintained her figure. Her skin glows!
As the the family business its has bubbled ever since. Firstly we have now built a new house in the compound. Then we now have 4 more shops in the market. Progress. These didn't come without some challenges but we were able to handle them, mostly through dad.
This reunion is a special one, really!
