Five Houses Damaged by Strong Winds.
Heavy rain accompanied by strong winds hit Bireuen District, Aceh Province, Indonesia, Saturday, 10/12/2022. As a result of the incident five housing units were severely damaged in three districts.
The rain that has been falling since the afternoon has caused strong winds to blow several houses in Jeunieb, Peulimbang and Pandrah sub-districts. Five houses were damaged on the roof.
The Chief Coordinator of the Bireuen Disaster Preparedness Taruna Zulfikar in the release of the disaster report stated that five houses were damaged on the roofs, the houses were in a damaged condition caused by strong winds.
The damaged house belonged to Muqsal Haris, a resident of Meunasah Tambo Village, Jeunieb District. His house was damaged on the roof, but the house was empty or not yet occupied. Meanwhile, Rosmani, whose house is adjacent to Muqsal Haris' house, also had damage to the roof.
Heavy rain and strong winds also hit the Peulimbang District area, two housing units were damaged on the roof due to the strong winds. The house belongs to Irfan Ali and Bakhtiar Muhammad who are residents of Seuneubok Peulimbang and Seuneubok Seumawe villages.
Furthermore, one housing unit was also heavily damaged in Pandrah Village, Pandrah District. Salman's house was damaged on the roof due to a fallen tree, there were no casualties in the accident.
Meanwhile, the Bireuen Regency Government through the Social Service directly distributed panic relief assistance to the victims, Sunday, 11/12/2022. This assistance is a form of government attention and concern for disaster victims, assistance is handed over directly to victims in their respective villages.
The assistance distributed was in the form of basic needs, clothing and other needs. With this assistance, I hope it will be used as well as possible and the impact of the disaster will be slightly handled.
