Kahanamoku Beach
This is a beach scene where I am staying in Oahu, Hawaii. I took a succession of photos on 360 degrees! All photos, gif, and video were taken by me with my iPhone, unless specified.
Brunch
I had some of my friends come visit me for brunch on my second day in Oahu. I went to the nearest place I knew, which is just around the corner... a take out brunch from Goofy's Cafe!
I ordered Two Big Island French Toast: A Very Mix Berry (with strawberry, blueberry and banana) and Hawaiian French Toast (with papaya, banana and pineapple). They are pictured way in the far top end.
The French Toast is pretty unique because it is made from Hawaiian Bread. Oh, it is served with honey and the usual whipped cream.
This next dish is frequently requested in the restaurant. I ordered two types of Eggs Benedict, one with Kalua Pork, and the other with Salmon and Spinach. The OKINAWAN purple potatoes are really sweet!
Kalua pork is a shredded pork dish from the pit, but I'm sure it was prepared in an alternative way. The Okinawan purple potatoes is actually native to the Americas, not Japan.
Loco Moco which is a beef patty, homemade special gravy sauce topped with two fried eggs & rice. Loco Moco is a very simple dish, and whenever I am in Hawaii I eat it because I love it! It tastes better here π€ͺ, hahaha. I do make it at home.
The food was really good! I also served Poke, a Native Hawaiian cuisine. which is diced raw tuna. Here is a photo taken from Bing images.
I found this in YouTube!
Flower
And this flower, I saw this flower along the Kahanamoku Beach, right where I was staying. There's a whole bunch of them all crowding the leaves! You will find flowers wherever you go.
