Hi Everyone,
Apart from going to the concert which was the main purchase for my recent trip to Thailand, the other thing was to support my favourite idols while I was there. In Thailand, the artist's schedules get released a few days before the event and many of them are free, allowing fans to see the favs at a close distance. During my trip, I was able to go to a few which means I have to get there super early to get a good spot.
The usual gear I bring would be my camera, my small stool (if my position isn't great, I could stand at the back), a drink, a battery pack and maybe some snacks depending on what time the event starts. In most cases, you are allowed to put your belongings at your spot and walk away to get some food, toilet break or walk around to stretch your back. I find the culture in Thailand is really good between fans, most local fans will look out for each other and if they know you are an interfan, some will try to help you out even as they know we can't always see the idols as much as they can. I have been very lucky and have made many local fan friends from these events by just chatting with them and many are willing to help.
I can't wait to go back and do this all over again. I know the idols I like are getting way more popular now and will be harder to see them like I have been the last year or two but I am still hopeful next time when I go, I will be able to do so.
