Brush my teeth, drink of water, kiss the kids goodnight, fluff up my stuffy bear, pray, check the smartphone one last time. What are your night time rituals just before bedtime?
Except kiss the kids goodnight, all of rituals before get to the bed is my activity. I would brush my teeth (even though it's rarely and not in every night, I would be brush my teeth before I sleep. It's because I have not married yet so I can't give the kids a good night kiss.
Drink the water of course also me. Drink water is always be my rituals before sleep cause I won't being thirsty while I sleep so I drink a little water. It's a little cause drink a lot of water could make me go to the bathroom and interrupted my beautiful dream.*
Fluff up the stuffy bear, I'm not sure but might be I've done cause I have the little bear as my sleep mate. Hehehe...*
Pray, of course I do. Since I child, pray before sleep is like the thing that we have to do as a religious human. I believe, praying before sleep will make your dream beautiful and there's no dark dream. So, pray is the must!*
I think Check The Smartphone is the habit. I will check my phone first before and after I slept. Even thought it just for see 'what time is it', it would be the routine things that I have always done. Sometimes, check the smartphone in the morning is affect me to not sleep again so I'm release my sleepy head. But the weakness for check the phone before sleep would make me insomniac. But it's always be my routine. hahaha...*
Actually, there's one thing that I have always do before sleep. It was doing skincare. I would be wash my face then applied my skincare routine. It has been 4 month I'm doing skincare before sleep cause I want to my skin to be healthy by taking care of it.
Whose or what picture is on the home page of your phone? And why did you pick that?
Talking about smartphone, I have several phones so I also have several pictures in each phone. Each phone have different function and I can't live just using one phone. Previously, In each phone I used my favorite idol as the picture of home page. But there's one phone whose home page picture is different. It's my new cellphone and it is the picture...
That is the picture of Switzerland in winter. I've got that picture from social media which's promote all about Switzerland. And the reason why do I put that picture as my home page is because of I loved Switzerland. That is the country that I want to visit instead once in my life, cause Switzerland was the beautiful country. Besides, seeing the beautiful Switzerland make me healing of burn out.
There's a story why do I loved Switzerland, It started from my favorite movie Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge which's taking half of pictures there. I know that country was beautiful from that movie. In that movie, all cast took the journey in Europe but mostly take in Switzerland. The beautiful grass, the highlands, the snow in Alpen Mountains, all set are interesting to me. So since then I become die hard fan of Switzerland. I have always dreamt about Switzerland, enjoying the snow there, and feel the silence with wisdom there. That's my one of big dream, and I still have a hope for that.
*Besides the picture of Switzerland in winter, there are three time zone different. It was the time from my place, Grogol Utara, South Jakarta, Indonesia, *Bern, Switzerland, and last, Vasteras, Sweden.
As I said that I loved all about Switzerland and the city that I loved was Bern. I have one novel setting in Switzerland and when I'm doing research that country, I fallen in love with Bern. Cause that city full of silence. I have dreamt about living in Bern, writing a novel there and etc. Bern was my favorite city, so I put that time there. If my memory is correct, the famous scene of DDLJ's movie was in Bern. That's about the main cast missed the train and they were end up together from there.
I'm also put Vasteras there, cause I have deadline. I have to accomplished my upcoming novel which the setting I set in Vasteras, so It will remind me about my project. Same with Switzerland, Vasteras, Sweden was the beautiful place that I have to visit at least once in my life. The view when winter, the grass in summer, the silence of the city, all about Vasteras was beautiful.
