Hoy 8 de marzo es un día muy especial para nosotras las féminas, pues celebramos nuestro día. No quería dejar pasar por alto esta fecha y decidí hacer un post en el que les quiero contar un poco sobre las mujeres de mi familia, a modo de homenaje a ellas, que se lo merecen por ser mujeres tan increíbles.
Dividiré el post en dos partes: en la primera les hablaré sobre las mujeres de mi familia por parte de madre; y en la segunda sobre aquellas por parte de padre. Antes de empezar debo decirles que yo me crié con mi familia por parte de madre, ya que mis padres se divorciaron cuando yo era muy pequeña, pero mi familia por parte de padre siempre ha estado ahí para mí y nunca he sentido su ausencia, ya que mis padres son muy buenos amigos y todos somos como una gran familia. Empecemos 🌸.
Today March 8th is a very special day for us women, as we celebrate our day. I didn't want to miss this date and I decided to make a post in which I want to tell you a little bit about the women in my family, as a tribute to them, who deserve it for being such amazing women.
I will divide the post in two parts: in the first one I will tell you about the women in my family on my mother's side; and in the second one about those on my father's side. Before I start I must tell you that I grew up with my family on my mother's side, since my parents divorced when I was very little, but my family on my father's side has always been there for me and I have never felt their absence, since my parents are very good friends and we are all like one big family. Let's get started 🌸.
La familia de mi mamá
Mi mamá:
Por supuesto que tengo que empezar por mi madre, pues es la mujer que me dió la vida y la que más quiero. Su nombre es Milvia, siempre la he considerado muy buena madre, tengo los mejores recuerdos de mi infancia gracias a ella, y a pesar de ser madre soltera supo criarnos a mí y a mi hermano de la mejor manera.
Me tuvo solo con 23 años, era muy joven, por eso siempre me divierto tanto con ella. A menudo nos confundían con hermanas, y es que tiene un carácter muy juvenil, es una persona muy divertida y le gusta salir a pasear en familia.
Mi mamá siempre ha sido mi más grande apoyo, ha estado conmigo en los momentos más importantes de mi vida y sé que siempre podré contar con ella. La amo mucho y ella lo sabe. 🌹😍❤️
My mom's family
My mom:
Of course I have to start with my mom, because she is the woman who gave me life and the one I love the most. Her name is Milvia, I have always considered her a very good mother, I have the best memories of my childhood thanks to her, and despite being a single mother she knew how to raise me and my brother in the best way.
She only had me when she was 23 years old, she was very young, that's why I always have so much fun with her. We were often mistaken for sisters, and she has a very youthful character, she is a very fun person and likes to go out for family outings.
My mom has always been my biggest support, she has been with me in the most important moments of my life and I know I can always count on her. I love her very much and she knows it. 🌹😍❤️

Mi abuela:
Mi abuela es un amor, desde chiquita me ha estado cuidando. Se llama Sonia, es una mujer inteligente, talentosa y amable. Es un gran ejemplo para mí, pues a pesar que no tuvo la necesidad de trabajar nunca, sabe hacer muchas cosas y le gusta leer mucho. Mi abuela sabe dibujar, escribe poemas, cocina muy rico y es una excelente costurera. Además, es una excelente abuela con todos sus nietos y gracias a ella hemos podido conocer sobre el amor de Dios, pues fue la primera de nuestra familia en ir a una iglesia y con su ejemplo la mayoría de nosotros nos hemos acercado a Dios.
My grandmother:
My grandmother is a sweetheart, she has been taking care of me since I was a little girl. Her name is Sonia, she is an intelligent, talented and kind woman. She is a great example for me, because even though she never had the need to work, she knows how to do many things and likes to read a lot. My grandmother can draw, writes poems, cooks very well and is an excellent seamstress. She is also an excellent grandmother with all her grandchildren and thanks to her we have been able to learn about God's love, because she was the first in our family to go to church and with her example most of us have come closer to God.

Mi tía:
Su nombre es Miriela y actualmente estoy viviendo en su casa, con mi primo y mi abuela. Es una mujer muy divertida, he podido comprobar que es el alma de la fiesta, pues cuando no está en casa se nota su ausencia, pues desborda alegría y nos hace reír a todos con sus ocurrencias. Es una mujer fuerte, independiente y muy trabajadora. Siempre ha sido una tía increíble y es una gran madre. Por eso la queremos mucho. 🌹🥰
My aunt:
Her name is Miriela and I am currently living in her house, with my cousin and my grandmother. She is a very funny woman, I have been able to verify that she is the life of the party, because when she is not at home her absence is noticeable, because she overflows with joy and makes us all laugh with her witticisms. She is a strong, independent and hard working woman. She has always been an incredible aunt and is a great mother. That's why we love her so much. 🌹🥰

La familia de mi papá
Debo decirles que todos ellos, incluyendo a mi papá, viven en La Habana desde hace varios años, por lo que no podemos vernos tanto, solo cuando voy allá en las vacaciones.
My dad's family I should tell you that all of them, including my dad, have been living in Havana for several years, so we don't get to see each other that much, only when I go there on vacation.
Mi abuela
Mi abuela se llama Nancy, es unos años mayor que mi abuela Sonia. Es muy dulce y cuando voy a visitarla se pone muy feliz, también le gusta mucho que la llame por teléfono. Antes de irse a vivir para La Habana me sacaba mucho a pasear y me visitaba. Recuerdo que cuando pequeña, pasaba los fin de semanas con mi papá y siempre íbamos a su casa. Cuando voy a visitarla me cuenta muchas historias de su juventud y a mi me encanta oírlas. La pasamos muy bien juntas, la quiero mucho. 🌹🥰
My grandmother
My grandmother's name is Nancy, she is a few years older than my grandmother Sonia. She is very sweet and when I go to visit her she is very happy, she also likes it when I call her on the phone. Before she left to live in Havana, she used to take me out and visit me a lot. I remember when I was a little girl, I used to spend weekends with my dad and we would always go to his house. When I go to visit her she tells me many stories of her youth and I love to hear them. We have a great time together, I love her very much. 🌹🥰

Mis tías:
Mis tías se llaman Tamara y Aimeé. Recuerdo que de pequeña siempre me llevaban a todas partes con ellas y me compraban muchas cosas, soy su consentida. Mi tía Tamara fue la última en irse a vivir para La Habana, por lo que solía pasarme todos los fines de semana en su casa. Me gustaba mucho la comida que hacía y me divertía mucho con mis primos. Con mi tía Aimeé tengo muy buenos recuerdos, ya que siempre la veía en vacaciones y me llevaba a pasear por La Habana, principalmente a la playa. Además, siempre me invita a sus viajes, gracias a ella he ido varias veces a Varadero y hasta conocí Topes de Collantes. Son muy buenas personas las dos y las quiero mucho. 🌹❤️
My aunts:
My aunts are called Tamara and Aimeé. I remember that when I was little they always took me everywhere with them and bought me many things, I am their spoiled brat. My aunt Tamara was the last one to move to Havana, so I used to spend every weekend at her house. I really liked the food she made and I had a lot of fun with my cousins. With my aunt Aimeé I have very good memories, since I always saw her on vacations and she used to take me for walks in Havana, mainly to the beach. Also, she always invites me to her trips, thanks to her I have been to Varadero several times and I even went to Topes de Collantes. They are both very good people and I love them very much. 🌹❤️

Mi prima:
Mi prima Karla es la única prima hembra que tengo, pues todos mis otros primos son varones. Es la hija de mi tía Aimeé y aunque vivamos en lugares diferentes, siempre nos vemos en vacaciones y nos llevamos muy bien.
My cousin:
My cousin Karla is the only female cousin I have, since all my other cousins are boys. She is my aunt Aimeé's daughter and even though we live in different places, we always see each other on vacations and we get along very well.

A modo de conclusión, todas estas mujeres son un ejemplo para mí y todas, de una forma u otra, me han hecho ser la persona que soy hoy en día. Creo que todas son increíbles, las amo muchísimo y me encanta pasar tiempo con ellas.
Esto es todo por hoy, espero que les haya gustado mi pequeño homenaje a esas bellas mujeres de mi familia y quisiera extender las felicitaciones a las mujeres de sus familias.
In conclusion, all of these women are an example to me and all of them, in one way or another, have made me the person I am today. I think they are all amazing, I love them dearly and I love spending time with them.
