Hello everyone! How are you all? I hope ou are well and happy.
As for me, I am, by God's grace.
This will be my entry for the Ladies of Hove community contest 129 and you can find the rules HERE
Spring is here. And it’s Easter or Passion week, religious or not, what were your special plans this week did you and your family accomplish?
The Philippines celebrated the Holy week last week. It is a remembrance, a celebration for Christ's Crucifixion, and the moment he gave His life to save ours from eternal doom.
And the Ph government declared that we will have a long weekend; They declared it holidays for Maundy Thursday( April 6), Good Friday (April7), April 8th and 9th are Saturday and Sunday. April 9th(easter Sunday) is the celebration of the day of valor but it was moved to Monday thus me, no they had a very long weekend.
But sadly, it's been a while since I did not attend to religious events.
My plans for this long weekend is to stay at home and crochet, and sew pants and make clothes repairs, and to take the weed off our cassava plants on the farm, I and my husband will do the labor since we are ashamed of borrowing my mother's brush cutter. I decided too late to buy or own, and because of the holidays, the delivery was delayed.
But my husband had another plan! And my mother is harvesting her cassava too so we were obliged to help on Friday. I love formwork; I work on the farm since I was young and I really missed it when I started to work for
My mother reinforced her basket
Yet we had only accomplished little since we arrived there past 9 in the morning already. The sun was too hot and I only spent a little time under the sun to take the cassava off of its stem.

Cooking food
While we were resting, My mother suggested we roast chicken in the morrow and we will be bringing my niece to the farm. We all got excited about what she said and so we did on Saturday.
PJ had fun, especially when her mother invited her father and they had great bonding moments together. She took a walk around enjoying the view and everyone around.

My girls are so excited to eat the roasted chicken. They wanted the skin, who doesn't?
To feel the ambiance even more, my nephew chose to use a banana trunk as his plate.
On Easter Sunday, my husband took me and our son to Lawis Grand Canyon! It is where we used to have a date 10 years ago. We got so buy in life when we got our first daughter so it took a while to get back.
Along the road while traveling.
Spectacular view of Lawis, Grand Canyon
I wanted to take my daughters too but my husband insisted we should not, besides, my mother needed them on the farm.
Apparently, my plans were not realized, none of it but my husband was very happy we went with him. My mother also was very happy that for once we are all in one place and having fun.
Thiw will be all for my entry, thank you so much for your time. Keep safe and stay happy
