...And all through the house,
Not a creature was stirring,
Not even a mouse.
Although, there are a few lizards, spiders and bugs running around the place, not to mention the ponies, dogs and cats.
It is almost a full year since we came to stay in the new house for the first time and such a lot has changed since those first three weeks of vacation.
This year, rather than hoping for a few weeks in France to recuperate from the onslaught of radiotherapy and chemotherapy and try to regain strength for the operation I needed, we are living a life of absolute bliss. Yes, it's hard work, but it is not stressful. I don't have the diagnosis of cancer hanging over me, just the slight concern of the next five years of follow-up consultations to think about.
Tomorrow morning, we set off for the train station to take us to the airport and our plane to Amsterdam. I'm so excited to be revisiting the beautiful city we last went to in 2016 at the very start of my blogging and crypto adventures.
To everyone that can't make it this time, I'm sorry to miss you, but I do hope you make it to another HiveFest in the next few years, I'm certain there will be more to come.
To everyone else that is going: See you there! I can't wait!
From the Bodyworks exhibition Amsterdam 2016 - It's a no-brainer.
