When Jimmy got home from work, he was way too tired to deal with Bear’s yapping and barking at the door. Bear had missed Jimmy, his tail wagged as fast as a hummingbird's wings. Bear stood up on his hind legs, his front paws rested on Jimmy’s knees.
Jimmy kicked Bear down. “Get off me, lousy mut.”
Bear whined, but he kept circling his owner and wagging his tail.
A meow was heard from the living room.
“Oh lord. Now here comes the second one…” Jimmy groaned.
Thankfully to Jimmy, his cat, Zoe, did not make her way over to him.
Jimmy spent all afternoon typing away on his computer (swiping Zoe off when she came to sit on the keyboard).
As he went to bed, he forgot to feed Zoe and Bear. Zoe and Bear meowed and barked at Jimmy, but all he said was “SHUT-UP! Lazy no-good pets!”
But that night, two red spirits entered the pets bodies. Four red eyes opened and stared upstairs.
Jimmy heard glass cracking, furniture ripping, and wood breaking coming from downstairs.
He quickly got up and ran downstairs.
Jimmy couldn’t believe his eyes. Both of his pets, Zoe and Bear, were busy breaking his table set.
“What the heck Bear!? Why are you doing this?!” Jimmy yelled, his blue eyes about to pop out of his head.
“What the heck type of name is Bear!? You think I wanted to be named Bear!? URAUH!” with that, Bear bit a chair leg, lifted the whole chair and slammed the thing to pieces against the floor.
Jimmy was flabbergasted. His dog just spoke back to him. “You… you can talk!?” he asked Bear.
“We’re tired of you,” Zoe told Jimmy. “So now, you let us free… or else.” Zoe told her owner.
Jimmy was flabbergasted, but after a while he asked, “or else what?”
And Jimmy was never heard from again.
