Today is the "L" moment
Lost In Translation (Sophia Coppola)
Art debut for Francis Ford Coppola's daughter. A small intimate and universal masterpiece with Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson. Light and simple but distressing and turbulent.
La La Land (Damien Chazelle)
One of the best films of the decade is a musical, a perfect musical, set in Los Angeles, that pays homage to cinema and love. A beautiful and unexpected ending, a sequence plan to open a wonderful film that lives on the talent of its very young director.
La Grande Bellezza (Paolo Sorrentino)
From a talent to an Italian master. The Oscar-winning film that amazed the world and confused so many people. An aesthetically clamorous film, visually ecstatic, mysterious and incomprehensible, as rarefied as dreams.
You always have to learn from beautiful things and here I propose again the beautiful initiative of but with a cinematic character.
Few rules, in fact none.
Just a few tips and suggestions to create a mini-community around all this!
- recommended tag a-zmovie
- Each day one alphabet letter, from 1 to 3 movies to indicate
- If possible link a video with trailer or some scenes from the movie
I also ask you:
- Brief description of the film
- What do you think
- Why do you recommend it
You can post in any community you want.
I give you a list of communities that I love, I suggest you post in one of them.
