Hey gang! 👋🏽 Don't many of us live for in-person Hive events?
Whether it's HiveFests, local city Hive Meetups, or groups of Hive friends traveling great distances to meet, many of us on the chain have become the best of friends all because we took a chance to attend an IRL Hive event.
This Tuesday's Hive Thrive Community Hour highlights a special in-person event known as Hive Open Days (HOD), now in its 3rd consecutive year! Hive Open Days 2026 begins in 30 days from the day of our show, so we're going to throw a Kick-Off Party to celebrate!!

We'll be chatting up the team who are the boots on the ground of the event, the speakers, and even some of the early registrants who are veteran Hive event goers and organizers.
We'll be discussing the plans, the places, and the paragliding (wait, what??) that are being prepared for the Hivians descending on Alicante, Spain from 30 April - 3 May, 2026.
True to the mission of Hive Thrive, we'll take time to discuss the sustainability of in-person events in the current environment and their relevance to the esprit de corps of Hive.
