I’m a regular here whenever I visit Yogyakarta. Located slightly tucked away in a quiet rice-field area, the café is perfect for those seeking a calm, peaceful, and nature-filled ambiance. This vibe really resonates with me.
The layout of the place makes great use of natural light, with large windows and thoughtfully arranged tables. There is also a long communal table equipped with plenty of electrical outlets, making it an ideal spot for remote workers and freelancers. The space is quite spacious and is divided into two areas: indoor and outdoor. Where else can you relax or work while being surrounded by cute cats and a lush, green view? Even if you come alone and feel like having some company at the table, some of the cats are kind enough to keep you company—definitely a lovely way to brighten your day.
I don’t come here every day, but I always make sure to visit whenever I’m in Yogyakarta, which is every three to six months. Each time I come, the cats are always different. I haven’t figured out whether the cats are the owner’s personal collection or if they simply have a wide variety of cats. However, since the cats are always changing, it’s one of the reasons I keep coming back—I’m always curious about which cute cats they’ll have this time, and it gives the place a dynamic vibe as well.
The coffee here is quite good. My favorite is their signature menu item called “Kopiko". Even in some moments, they served seasonal beans to! For those who prefer drinks other than coffee, they also offer a selection of tea. Well, so far that's what I can tell about this place. Again, for you who are looking for a cozy place to enjoy coffee and cat cuteness...make sure to visit this place when you are in Yogyakarta....
