Especially the ones with memes!
Just send to all the people in a phone.
I just hate that.
Because I hate them, I send post cards to all the people who made a difference this year. This year I don’t send cards abroad, those people get a personal email or hive message. I have send presents in the past, I even send hivers presents, like a christmas surprise box. Not this year. This year its Ukraine Ukraine Ukraine. I donated to a dutch inititive by a Ukrainian dutch football player to buy generators for the cold days there already and the even colder days to come.
Its still on our radar here in my household and we all pray that the end of the war is close. I learned about this initiative on a dutch tv show BEAU but this is a article from his wife ( levchenko and koblenko are married ) online so I will leave the link so you can read about this.

Back to the postcards. I send them all with a personal memory to the receiver of us as a family, me as a friend, me as a sister, me as a family member, as a collegue, as a i law, as a mum to the teacher , to the neighbours, to the concierge of the work place, to the doc and dentist, to that special friend who was ill, to the mum of my oldest friend, to the dorm of the second oldest , to the ladies of church and the sewing school, to the lady up the road who is all alone, to the trainer of the soccer team, to the daughters of a friend who I used to babysit and now have their own kids, to co workers in other departments and to school of the boys.
They different scenes for different ages is also something I do when I choose the ones I want to send a special person.
Its a small gesture, but a great pleasure.
You can buy postcards in every grocery store these days, and they are in all shapes and forms.
I have all kinds of cards and even cards for the kids my boys want to give in the class to their friends.
The colorful stamps are also a lovely sight. Fun that all are different.
In the month of December Holland has Kerstzegels, the Christmas stamps with a special price. I bought many different ones, and also had some older ones left from the Kinderpostzegel week this year. They are kids stamps.
Its took me two hours and they are all done and under way to the special people. They all have a special message and who knows there will be more cards in return aswell. The ones I already got for our family hang in the door. Its a nice touch of these christmas days.
