Well, this place was on my agenda today. Its a local bar/grill called Legends, I've never been here and heard of it just the other day.
I have some classmates from about 17 years ago. Well, the 1 lady is a classmate from the start of my Sleep Career, and the other lady i met while working in the field, so i ve known her for about 15 years now. So anyways, they have liked to keep in touch with me over the years, so we are friends ever since.
LEGENDS
So as i pull up, its a bit snowy and very very cold out here currently, in the city of #chicago. We are close to 7 degree Fahrenheit temperature. In Celsius, i dont even know what that is, and im too lazy to do a conversion. As im pulling up and walking in I decide to take these couple pictures at the entrance.
Now, if I was thinking more clearly, i could have remembered to take some more pictures, but im on only a little bit of sleep. I have been off work the past couple nights, but my sleep has not been great, due to me having a hard time flip flopping my hours, due to working night shift.
Sometimes i actually feel the best, when im just grinding the hours at work, because i feel most in tune at that time. The moment of have some days off, i have a hard time adjusting and end up sleeping too much or too little.
but blah blah
I enjoyed a dish of Pierogi, which is like Polish dumplings, with a potatoe and cheese filling. It had some extras like a slight layer of green beneath if for some flavor/flare, and a side of sour cream.
My lady friends had some Fried Pickle, and Pretzel Bites but I..... hardly took any pictures. We each had about 2 drinks...i had 2 beers....
Here we are at the table, im trying to edit this picture to optimize it as much as i can.
The dishes and glasses are scattered about on the table, and an hours worth of conversation has unfolded, and now the time draws later. It is time to get up and go. My stomach is a bit full, and i have to venture into the cold wind, and slight layer of snow.
We say our goodbyes and start our cars, and ride out....into the Storms and Snowfall.
