CONDUITS
I'm a firm believer that in order to truly grow thoroughly, you should have a mentor guiding you, and a student to guide. Being a conduit of information and allowing that kind of energy to flow into you, ignite you, and then pass through you to ignite others is just a beautiful thing to behold.
Have you ever seen how the last baby in the family can tend to stay in that "baby" mode for way too long? Everyone becomes very accustomed to treating the last child with that mentality of "spoon-feeding" forever. It's not healthy for people to allow a human being to stagnate in that role.
What is the QUICKEST way to break that cycle?
Bring in a new baby! haha It's amazing how QUICKLY everyone sees what a TRUE baby looks like when the tiny little infant arrives! All of the sudden, the "old baby" is seen for the toddler that he or she truly is! And all of the sudden, it's a fast growing curve that is thrust upon them!
WE DON'T WANT OUR NEWBIES TO STAGNATE.
We want them to immediately begin to find someone that is even "more new" than they are! Because that is the BEST way for them to put what they are learning into action, and start to FEED into that next generation!
ALSO NOTE - THAT FOR THIS NEXT WEEK, POINTS WILL ALL STILL BE ALOTTED THE SAME WAY, EXCEPT.... NO POINTS FOR WAVES, THREADS, AND TWEETS. You can still use these for fun, and please do! But we are finding that people write more effectively WITHOUT points being issued!
SO WHAT IS OUR TASK THIS WEEK... and how are you going to be pouring out when YOU newbies are so new??

NEWBIES, do your best to establish a NEW relationship where you are helping someone to grow on Hive, and utilizing all that you've learned to pour into them!

I really hope that you select someone to "coach" this week that will become part of your long-term tribe!
CAN YOU SELECT ONE NEWBIE FOR THE WHOLE TEAM TO SUPPORT? YEP. If you would rather focus ALL of your teem's attention on ONE special NEWEST newbie this week - go for it!
But then EVERYONE must be pouring into that newbie. DESCEND onto their posts with GENUINE strong engagement! Give tips! Invite them to communities. Bring them into discords! Let them feel all the love that you've been soaking in - for the past 2 weeks.
WHAT IF SOMEONE NEW IS JOINING OUR TEEM THIS WEEK? Can we just focus our attention on them?
YEP. IF - and only if - they are brand new this week to your teem... you can use them as your "new baby"!
WHAT ABOUT POINTS FOR THE NEWEST NEWBIES? SHOULD WE COLLECT POINTS FOR THEM?
You sure can! But don't stress them about it. It's fun, its motivational, but don't let it be a burden to them. Just help them to GROW and show them that points are available IF they want them.
WHAT IF THE TEEM CHOSE ONE, BUT I REALLY FEEL A STRONG CONNECTION WITH SOMEONE ELSE I FOUND. CAN I SUPPORT THEM INSTEAD?
