One important thing I learned last week is that resting does not mean I am lazy. For a long time, I believed that I always had to be busy to be considered productive. If I rested, I felt guilty, like I was wasting time. But last week showed me a different truth.
I realized that when I don’t rest, my mind becomes tired and I start making mistakes. I lose focus, get irritated easily, and even simple tasks feel difficult. However, when I allowed myself to rest—whether by sleeping well, staying offline for a while, or just sitting quietly—I felt refreshed and more motivated.
Rest helped me think clearly and do things better, not slower. It reminded me that my body and mind also need care, not just pressure. Taking breaks doesn’t stop progress; it actually helps me continue stronger.
Now I understand that resting is part of growth. Knowing when to pause is just as important as knowing when to work.
