Vivimos hiperconectados, con la información fluyendo como un río caudaloso y las pantallas nos tienen hipnotizados con su luz incandescente, escondiendo una realidad que muchos nos negamos a aceptar: nos quieren débiles y frágiles.
Llámala conspiración silenciosa, estrategia de reingeniería o simplemente evolución de nuestra libertad, porque más allá del nombre es una realidad urdida en las sombras por aquellos que ostentan el poder, que se nutren de la división y la desconfianza.
Para ellos, una sociedad fragmentada, ensimismada en sus propios problemas y carente de espíritu crítico, es más fácil de controlar.
Hoy nos alimentan la individualidad. Nos bombardean con mensajes que exaltan el egoísmo, la vanidad y la búsqueda del éxito personal a toda costa. Se crean narrativas que se compran como pan caliente, se venden humos de paja como tesoros místicos, todo para que vivamos en una burbuja de confort, donde las opiniones divergentes son acalladas y la crítica se convierte en un tabú.
Nos quieren y mucho, se preocupan por nosotros, como nunca, porque mientras seamos dóciles, obedientes, consumidores acríticos de una realidad prefabricada no estaremos para revelarnos. Nos quieren alejados de la reflexión profunda, de la acción colectiva, de la búsqueda de un bien común que trascienda nuestras propias necesidades.
Nos venden el placer y la satisfacción egoísta como banderas de libertad, donde nos niegan la verdad, esa que ellos mismos pregonan, haciendo de la realidad una zona de guerra, donde todos somos enemigos.
No quieren nuestra humanidad, solidaria, reflexiva. Niegan que somos seres sociales, cuya fuerza reside en la unión, en la capacidad de tejer redes de solidaridad y cooperación que nos permitan enfrentar los desafíos que nos aquejan.

«nos quieren callados y sumisos (…) se les llena la boca hablando de progreso, de libertad, de derechos, y solamente nos traen enfrentamiento y ruina. Para ellos el progreso consiste en lo que están haciendo: manipular la información, silenciar al disidente, blanquear el terrorismo, corromper la justicia, enfrentar a la gente, intentar implantar un pensamiento único, tratas de desmembrar el país y empobrecerlo, asfixiar al contribuyente, adoctrinar a los niños en los colegios y acabar con la libertad. Que no te engañen y sobre todo que no te callen».
Nos están robando la fuerza, la esperanza y la capacidad de soñar con un mundo mejor, por ello debemos aprovechar la interconexión que poseemos, esa red invisible de emociones, ideas y experiencias.
Debemos romper las cadenas que nos atan a la individualidad y al egoísmo, y construir un futuro donde la fragilidad se transforme en fortaleza colectiva.

We live hyper-connected, with information flowing like a mighty river and the screens have us hypnotized with their incandescent light, hiding a reality that many of us refuse to accept: they want us weak and fragile.
Call it a silent conspiracy, a reengineering strategy or simply the evolution of our freedom, because beyond the name it is a reality hatched in the shadows by those in power, who thrive on division and mistrust.
For them, a fragmented society, self-absorbed in its own problems and lacking a critical spirit, is easier to control.
Today they feed us individuality. We are bombarded with messages that exalt selfishness, vanity and the pursuit of personal success at all costs. Narratives are created that are bought like hot cakes, smoke and mirrors are sold as mystical treasures, all so that we live in a bubble of comfort, where divergent opinions are silenced and criticism becomes a taboo.
They love us and very much, they worry about us, as never before, because as long as we are docile, obedient, uncritical consumers of a prefabricated reality we will not be there to reveal ourselves. They want us away from deep reflection, from collective action, from the search for a common good that transcends our own needs.
They sell us pleasure and selfish satisfaction as banners of freedom, where they deny us the truth, that which they themselves proclaim, turning reality into a war zone, where we are all enemies.
They do not want our humanity, solidary, reflexive. They deny that we are social beings, whose strength lies in union, in the ability to weave networks of solidarity and cooperation that allow us to face the challenges that afflict us.
Irene Villa Irebe Varela stated.
They want us to be silent and submissive (...) they talk about progress, freedom, rights, and they only bring us confrontation and ruin. For them, progress consists in what they are doing: manipulating information, silencing dissidents, laundering terrorism, corrupting justice, confronting people, trying to implant a single way of thinking, trying to dismember the country and impoverish it, suffocating taxpayers, indoctrinating children in schools and putting an end to freedom. Don't be fooled and above all don't be silenced".
They are stealing our strength, our hope and our ability to dream of a better world, so we must take advantage of the interconnection we possess, that invisible network of emotions, ideas and experiences.
We must break the chains that bind us to individuality and selfishness, and build a future where fragility is transformed into collective strength.
