Welcome to my blog friends on this week Ecency discord topic by @mypathonfire. It is a fitting topic for this season of Easter celebration. I on my part do not celebrate Easter but celebrate something special to me too. It is an annual celebration which is done on Nissan14. This year own was done on 04/04/2023 which correspond to Nissan14 . The day a great history was created in the history of mankind.
How it all began
It is not a new story to millions of people that a Son was born to us and he will be called prince of peace. Mighty God, eternal Father. the day this son was born, Angels appeared to shepherds in the field to inform them that prince of peace has been born.
They went to where he was with the parents with so many gift to give to them and to see the king. Everything was just as the Angels told them. This child grew to age of 30 and was baptized by John the Baptist. John witnessed some different from the baptism of this prince and that of others. A voice came out from heaven to declare that He was his beloved Son whom he has approved.
From that day, he began his miraculous work for another 3 and half years which made it 33 and half years on Earth. He was hated by many and loved by many too. One of his friends fulfilled a prophecy that he will be betrayed by his friend and he was put to death. His death became a ransom.
He redeemed mankind from sin and death right from that moment and become our mediator. He opened a way for us to pray to his father and be heard. Hope of Resurrection and everlasting life becomes possible because of his death.
What else
On that night before his death . He celebrated with his faithful friends and asked them to keep doing that in remembrance of him. Over 2,000 years ago. Faithful Christians have been celebrating his death till this day.

How do i celebrate it and with who.
This celebration is done after Sun set on every Nissan14 by all friends of peace and their friends too. It is done at kingdom halls of Jehovah's witnesses, at prison, at a rented apartment, at schools. We use unleavened bread and none artificial wine in this great occasion. The bread represent Jesus Christ perfect body and the wine represent his blood which he poured out on behalf of many.
I celebrate this occasion with my family and over 8,000,000 of Jehovah's witnesses world wide. It is a day to remember, so special to me and everyone who has faith in Jesus Christ.
Do i prepare special food on that day
Well, when something is special to you. The way you behave that day or do things will show that you have special interest on that. I don't have special food for that day but have deep meditation on what Jesus Christ did for mankind. I call it holy day. I bring my children together for morning worship and we will read account of Jesus Christ life it helps us to put more faith in him. I have been celebrating this for 5 decades now and hope to celebrate it more as long as I live.
