For over a year now, i have stopped swimming, although I'm not too confident in swimming skills. I prefer swimming in shallow areas with friends, as I get anxious in deep water.
Swimming isn't really a hobby of mine, but I enjoy it as a fun activity. My mom always warned me about swimming in unfamiliar rivers, citing concerns about unknown depths and potential spiritual risks.
I have a friend who's an excellent swimmer – he's like a fish in water! I've seen him swim in rivers that are over 17 feet deep.
While I find swimming interesting and enjoyable, it's not something I'm naturally good at. Sometimes, fear takes over, especially after hearing about a lady who lost her son in a nearby river.
So swimming isn't a bad thing, but swim carefully and know your limit...
What about you? What are your thoughts and experiences with swimming?"
