Greetings, members of the Kingdom community. You're welcome to my blog.
This morning, I want to finish the topic I started a few days ago. The topic I treated was when God is silent. And I know you all have read through it, and have learned from it.
So, this morning, I will continue from where I stopped. But before that, I need to remind you of certain things I said the other day.
I could still recall that I said a few things about the phrase when "God is silent". I said that;
- When God is silent it doesn't mean he has forgotten about you. Rather, he's waiting for you to reflect on your past, so that God himself can manifest his power.
- God is silent because he's testing your faith.
- God is silent because he's waiting for the right time ( the right time)
This is just a review of what I already did. As I said earlier, I'm going to continue from where I stopped. But today, I'm not going to deliberate on the previous topic, rather, I'm going to deliberate on the topic What to do when God is silent.
This is a very special topic on its own. Indeed there are certain things you need to do whenever you observe that God is silent.
This topic in question has nothing to do with being angry, but it deals with how you need to behave when God isn't responding to your complaints.
What to do when God is silent:
Trust his sovereignty ( supreme power of God)
Isaiah 40:31. I will be reading from the King James Version.But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.
Our God is sovereign, and his power is supreme over any other power. You must learn to trust in his sovereignty each time you're in distress and need something urgently. Learn to wait on God, so that he can renew your strength.
Seeking him earnestly: This is another thing you must do whenever God seems to be silent. Seeking him earnestly, is something you should endeavor to do. Never relent effort on seeking God. He's the one you should seek earnestly, and he will respond at the right time.
Reflect, repent, and let go of your sins:
This is the last thing you should do while God is silent. As a human being, there must be a particular time in your life when you need to reflect on your life. This reflection means re-examining your lifestyle to find out where you're at fault.
Once you're done reflecting on your lifestyle, you need to repent and then let go of your sins. Sin can hinder your breakthrough, so if you truly want God to speak on your behalf, you need to let go of your sins.
Thank you all.
