Who says spicy can't be crispy? πΆοΈπ₯ Meet Dinamite, one of the most iconic Filipino snacks that packs a fiery punch with every bite!
π Perfect for parties, merienda, or just when you need a little heat in your life as today's T8 signal Typhoon
πΆοΈ What Youβll Need:
- 10β12 large green chili peppers (siling haba or long green chilies)
- 200g ground pork or beef (or mix with shrimp for extra flavor!)
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp patis (fish sauce)
- Β½ tsp ground black pepper
- 1 egg (for binding)
- 1 pack egg roll wrappers (spring roll skins)
- Oil for deep frying

1οΈβ£ Prepare the Chilies:
Cut off the tops of the chilies and carefully remove seeds (keep it spicy or deseed for milder taste). Set aside.
2οΈβ£ Make the Filling:
In a bowl, mix ground meat, onion, garlic, soy sauce, fish sauce, pepper, and egg. Mix well until combined.
3οΈβ£ Stuff & Wrap:
Fill each chili with the meat mixture. Then wrap tightly with an egg roll wrapper, sealing the ends neatly. Pro tip: brush edges with water to seal!
4οΈβ£ Fry to Perfection:
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the wrapped chilies until golden brown and crispy (about 3β4 minutes per side). Drain on paper towels.
5οΈβ£ Serve Hot!
Serve immediately with a side of sweet chili sauce or vinegar dipping sauce for that perfect balance of sweet, sour, and spicy!
