Hello hive community š¤
Today I want to share a sketch that is more than just pencil marks on paper; it is a reflection of a feeling we all carry within us.
In the constant hustle and bustle of city life, we often lose ourselves in the noise. We get so caught up in the "skyline" of our responsibilities that we forget to breathe.
This drawing captures that exact moment of longingāthe bridge between the crowded world we live in and the peaceful world we desire.
###The Story Behind the Sketch
In this piece, Iāve depicted a lone figure sitting atop a high cliff. Below him lies the silhouette of a busy city, with its tall buildings and endless rush. But up there, on the peak, the world is different. There is a vast, setting sun and birds flying freely toward the horizon.
I often imagine myself in that spot. To be in a place where the air is cool, the silence is loud, and the only thing that matters is the present moment. That solitude isn't about being lonely; itās about reconnecting with your own soul.
A Few Lines of Reflection
High on a cliff, I sit alone and still,
Watching the sun dip behind the distant hill.
The city below is a world of its own,
But here, in the silence, I am truly at home.
The birds soar high, free from any care,
I wish my heart could join them in the air.
Art and Perspective
This sketch represents the "Two-Tone World" we live in. One side is the rigid, structured city (the skyline), and the other is the wild, boundless freedom of nature (the birds and the cliff). I believe we all need to find our own "cliff" from time to timeāa place where we can step back, gain perspective, and realize that life is much bigger than our daily worries.
I hope you like this piece and the story it tells.
What about you? Where do you go when you need to find peace and escape the noise of the world?
Iād love to hear your thoughts in the comments!
