There is no doubt that my favorite beverage is tea. Yorkshire tea is a proper, bold cup of English black tea and is my favorite for my morning beverage in my well loved mug.
That old blue handmade pottery mug and I have quite the history together. I will be heartbroken when it inevitably gets broken. I have had it for well over 20 years and use it every single day. When I've gone on long trips it has gotten packed in my suitcase and it has actually traveled from the US to Europe several times with me. I have even carried it along in my pack when I am kayaking and camping so that I could have it for a cup of tea by an early morning campfire. It doubles as a hand warmer on chilly mornings!
In the afternoon I usually make a cup (or 2 or 3) of flavored tea. Chai, Earl Grey cinnamon, and vanilla flavored teas are favorites. I recieve a lot of tea as gifts, and one shelf in my pantry is filled with a wide variety of flavored tea, so I have a large selection to choose from.
I just purchased this Pumpkin Spice tea yesterday and after having one cup have not yet decided if I love it or not. They advertised it as pumpkin pie in a cup, and it is not.
I usually have a water bottle close by, but I don't drink coffee, quit drinking sugary carbonated beverages 30 years ago, and I dislike beer, so my beverage of choice is tea and I do drink a lot of it!
Great topic for this week ! I'll be looking forward to what others write about, although I can already guess what Seckorama's will be!
