Hello everyone, greetings to all Hive users.
This is my first post here, so let me introduce myself. My name is Priyanshu Mehara. I am 14 years old and I study in 9th grade. I got to know about this platform through my friend (), who already has some experience here.
I have many hobbies and interests. I like playing football, I enjoy sketching, and I love playing musical instruments like the guitar, ukulele, and harmonium. I live in Haldwani, a city in Uttarakhand, also known as Devbhoomi. It is a beautiful place with many temples and tourist spots. Most people here are Pahadi, and I am also Pahadi.
My native place is a village in the Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand, around 200 km away from Haldwani. My village is peaceful and scenic, surrounded by hills and nature. There are many places to visit, and the village is located on a hill. On the top of that hill, a British ruler once lived and built a bungalow, which still looks really impressive. I visited that bungalow about two years ago during my winter vacations.
There is also a small lake near my village, which looks very calm and beautiful. I once visited my village when it was snowing, and the view at that time was unforgettable. Recently, I visited my village again during my summer vacations, and my cousins were also there. We don’t get to meet often because all of us live very far away from the village and from each other, so spending time together felt really special. We had a lot of fun, visited a temple, and explored many places around the village.
One moment that felt truly unreal was when I went to a nearby hilltop. From there, I could clearly see the Himalayas, and the view was beyond words. It was one of the most beautiful scenes I have ever seen.
We also came across an old house that people call a haunted house, but I don’t really believe in ghosts, so I wasn’t scared. The house was very old, and a single tree had fallen on its roof, damaging it badly. It looked creepy, but I didn’t feel afraid.
That’s all for now. I’ll be sharing more about myself and my experiences in future posts.
Thank you for reading, and goodbye 👋
