This month's Ecency Dreemport challenge has come to an end. It has been an action-packed 3 weeks with lots of fun activities and engagement on Hive and in particular, using the Ecency Dapp.
How did this month impact me?
The month impacted me in unexpected ways. I had originally thought this would be a quiet affair. Write and submit a few articles using Dreemport and Ecency and that would be it.
However, there was so much engagement that it became my main focus for the last 3 weeks and it was sometimes hard to keep up! lol
Before the challenge, I was somewhat familiar with Dreemport and Ecency and was therefore a little familiar with both of them. However, the last 3 weeks took the engagement to the next level.
We did the usual creating articles and submitting them. But we were 100 times more engaging than usual because we were teaming up with new people and engaging in discord and on Hive.
In our teams, we luckily had someone who was good at organising and another at doing graphics to make a team logo. Luckily we complemented each other for a good bond.
It was great to get to know some other Hivers more than usual and support their work and goals. Through the power of boosting others, it was a real uplift to the group and community.
Not only that, we got to use and test out some of the many benefits of Ecency, such as boosts, gifting ecency points, and checking the engagement table.
With the help of others, I learned how to create an animated banner and when I curate on Dreemport, I can also gift Ecency points! It is great to give some extra bonus to the community.
Did I feel more connected?
I now feel much closer to the community and it is great to know people better and all support each other.
Did I try new things that I'll continue to use?
For sure, yes. Before I was boosting posts in the community. In the future, I will also gift Ecency points and use my banner to spread the Ecency Love.
Do I think the Lovelution Revolution continues?
I think so, I think this is the best way to thrive on Hive if we all support each other and spread the love and good vibes! There is so much negativity in the mainstream and we can show that there is another way.
