Today my next beautiful flower which I want to share , Its name is arabian jasmine. It is also known as Mohle flower. It is called zambac and pikake.It is the national flower of Philippines and Indonesia.It blooms in summer,spring and autumn. The flower have only one color such as white . Its a symbol of loyalty respect and purity. Belongs to family Oleaceae - Olive.
Its botanical name is Jasminum sambac.The size of the flower is 2.5cm.The height of the plant is 50cm to 1m. It can spread 1.8m to 3 m. It needs neutral and well drained soil. It can grow on the border of garden. It grow well in full sunlight to partial sunlight. Average water needs. Fertilize once in a month.
Arabian jasmine has a delicate fragrance. It can be used in perfumes because of its sweet fragrance.
It is used as a decoration in Srilanka. In chine it is used as a ingredient of tea. While in Pakistan and India it is used in garlands and hair adornment.
The other name is sambac jasmine. Its planting time is spring and autumn. It can propagate by cutting and layering. It is a climbing vine.
It has 200 species. It belongs to kingdom plantae. Its hardness zone is 6-7. It has a lots of industrial and commercial uses. Damascus is known as the city of jasmine.
