Today I want to share a picture of beautiful china Rose and also now as Chinese rose and bengal rose. It is also known as garden rose.Family name is Rosaceae ,Rose . Botanical name is Rosa chinensis. These flowers belong to kingdom plantae.Its also a medicinal flower commonly use for making Rose water.Usually blooms in both summer and autumn, spring.
The height of the plant is 1-2m.The size of the flower is 4-5cm. It can spread 91cm to 1.8m. Planting time is spring and autumn. It requires water when the surface of the soil has dried out to 3cm.They are ornamental flowers with fragrant scent. It is a symbol of eternal spring.Roses are national flowers of USA and UK.
They are in different colors such as red purple orange gold variegated white yellow pink.
It needs well drained soil, Chalky, loam ,clay.acidic and slightly neutral soil.
They have a delightful fragrance. It requires full sunlight to partial sun. It can fertilize once in 2 ,3 month in growing season. Its harvesting time is autumn. It can propagate by cutting and division.
It is oftenly used in watercolors painting.
Due to its name, the Rosa chinensis originate from China. It is one of the flower which represents the country.
