Growing up in a country like Nigeria where farming was basic, I watched my mum grow cassava, okra and other vegetables.

Cassava was a major focus for us, because that is where our food came from.
In a home where we didn't have much we were raised with a delicacy called Garri and soup.
Garri and soup has been my favourite since I was a kid because I grew up eating it. I love egusi soup especially. It is very appetizing and delicious. Its taste is out of this world just like the aroma which leaves you salivating and wanting to have a taste.
Egusi soup is made with meat, natural ingredients like melon seeds which is gotten from our farms, it is made with fish, crayfish and periwinkle which are gotten from the sea and other nutritional Vegetables.

Garri is gotten from processed cassava harvested from our farm.
This delicacy is actually cheap because most of the things used to prepare it are just around us.
I love my Garri so much that I can eat it for two full days without craving something else.
Funny enough I had my favorite Garri and Egusi soup this morning
I enjoy eating this food with my mum and siblings, it doesn't matter the time because for me I am delighted at the sight of it.
