If the latest Ecency update is giving you headaches with crashes, slow loading, or image upload errors, don't worry—you aren't alone. While the developers work on the next fix, we can get back to a smooth experience by simply rolling back to a version that worked.
In this guide, I’ll show you how to safely use APKPure to snag a stable older version and keep it from auto-updating.
🛑 Step 1: The "Clean Slate" Protocol
Before we travel back in time, we have to kill the glitchy version currently living on your phone.
- BACKUP FIRST: Ensure you have your Posting Key or Active Key saved in a secure place (like Hive Keychain or a safe note).
- UNINSTALL: Delete the current Ecency app from your phone entirely.

🔍 Step 2: Hunting on APKPure
Open your mobile browser (Chrome, Brave, etc.) and head to APKPure.com.
- Type "Ecency" into the search bar.
- Click on the official Ecency app result.
⏳ Step 3: Accessing the "Version History"
⚠️ WARNING: Do NOT click the big green "Download" button at the top. That will just give you the same buggy version you just deleted!
How to find the stable stuff:
- Scroll down the page until you see the section titled "Version History" or "Old Versions."
- Select a version from 3–4 weeks ago. (Look for a version number slightly lower than the current one).
- Click the Download icon next to that specific version.
📥 Step 4: Handling the .XAPK File
