Dhaka, Bangladesh:
The Israeli Ministry of Health has reported that 261 people were injured within the last 24 hours following a wave of strikes launched by Iran and the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah.
According to official data, the total number of injuries in Israel since the beginning of Iranian retaliatory operations has climbed to 5,492. Currently, 116 individuals remain hospitalized, receiving ongoing medical treatment. The surge in casualties over the past day highlights the intensifying nature of the conflict as hospitals across the country treated the 261 newly injured residents.
This escalation follows the ongoing military campaign initiated by the United States and Israel against Iran since February 28. In response, Tehran has vowed a sustained counter-offensive, targeting both Israeli territory and various US military installations throughout the Middle East.
The regional security situation remains extremely volatile as both sides continue to exchange heavy fire, with no immediate signs of de-escalation in sight.
