Let’s drink coffee friends. In the morning, it is my routine to make a coffee with pandesal or sandwich. But since the bakeries were closed in our area, I just bought biscuit crackers at the nearby store. At the Sari-sari store, it costs 10 pesos per piece. Anyway, my morning isn’t complete without coffee. Often, it is mixed with milk. I avoid the coffee creamer because it is unhealthy. According to the doctor, it is rich in cholesterol. Milk for adults is the best option. It is not just nutritious but creamy too. Honestly, I tried many times to avoid coffee because I palpitate sometimes, but I can’t resist its smell. I always look for it when I wake up. My morning is boring without it. How about you? Are you a coffee lover like me? Was there a time that you tried to stop this addiction? It may has a palpitation effect to our body, but my doctor said that it also detoxify the fatty liver. Amazing! I thought there’s no health benefit of coffee.
After the coffee routine in the morning, we are used to eat at lunch around 11:30. I sauteed the Ampalaya (Bitter Guard) with egg. Some people squeeze the Ampaya by salt, so that the bitter taste is gone. I won’t agree to that. I just cook it naturally so that, the nutrients are still there. I love how it taste that when we munch it, it is very crunchy while we can also taste the perfect blend of salt, ground pepper, Magic Sarap and egg. Since I was a kid, the recipe Ampalaya with Egg is my most favorite. I love its crunchiness and a little bitterness. How about you, do you dare to eat this plant? Do you know how to make an Ampalaya with Egg?
