Good morning friends. I had a productive morning because I went to the mall a while ago. I paid the total grocery of 4,000 pesos good for one week. The prices are high and I can’t believe that I just bought a few. Four thousand pesos is not enough to buy those basic needs in the kitchen. I just picked up those important goods than wants. I also noticed that there were only a few people in the mall. Do some of them affected by the global crisis? Maybe. Even if the Philippines is away from those nations with conflict, we still feel like our country is included because of the limited oil.
After the grocery errand, I ate a fresh lumpia and bread. Fresh lumpia is super yummy and healthy. It only costs 35 pesos. The bread costs 25 pesos. I bought a lemon juice. Those foods are enough to treat my hunger because I went to the mall without breakfast. My body gets hungry easily if I skip meal. I skipped the breakfast because the vehicle was waiting for me outside and I did not want to make him wait.
I wanted a Buko juice, but so many people were queueing, so why not try the healthy lemon juice? I ordered the small cup. It was good the fact that the juice was mixed with a pure honey as sweetener. I believe that honey is better than sugar if we are health conscious. But no worries because I don’t like sweets.
These are the food stores at the hallway where we can choose different kinds of street foods such as Empanada, siopao, siomai, kwekkwek, fishball, tempura and fruit salad. They also sell fresh lumpia. In sweets, they display puto. It’s is my most favorite Pinoy delicacy as it is composed of rice flour, sugar and coconut milk. Simple ingredients but the taste is purely delicious.
This is the bukod juice stand that I wanted to buy with, but I was hungry and they have a lot of customers. The small cup costs 35 pesos. Very cheap but satisfying drink. We can feel the sweetness of the juice from buko that is mixed with milk and sugar. Have you ever tasted it? Do you like it? Aside from being a tasty juice, it is also nutritious. I always hear from the doctors that the buko juice can even treat Urinary Tract Infection. I believe this is true, because my late husband would just climb a coconut tree at the dawn and drink its juice immediately. He had U.T.I, but it was gone when he routinely drank its juice. Would you believe that? Please tell me your story. See you on comments.
