That's a wrap for week one posting and sharing through the Ecency front end... so not unlike most weeks for me then as I have been using Ecency for some time now.

The Dreemport-Ecency Challenge lit up both discord servers this week in a great way!!! And Ecencians and Dreemers have been getting to know each other through our writing and engagement.

Things I already loved about Ecency before this week included Ecency loyalty points which are earned through posting, reblogging, and commenting whilst using the front end. These points can be used in varying degrees to promote or boost posts, either your own or that of somebody else. The points can be earned or purchased and are worth more on a post than their face value.

I prefer the softer look and feel to the Ecencyfront end, although I find PeakD has some nice functionality with respect to how they handle multiple drafts, and HBI sponsorship. On the whole, however, it is Ecency all the way for me! I did learn that Ecency does do multiple drafts but the experience is just slightly different.

Very much looking forward to the next two weeks.

I have the best partner in crime for the Dreemport-Ecency Challenge weeks in July, none other than Hive account@penderis.

Most will know Pen as our lovely Dreemport dev, that guy that runs and owns the #fuckit community, plays Splinterlands and Rising Star, writes about shitposting all the time when in fact he is a terrific writer and at this very moment has me chomping at the bit for part 3 of his short story serial set against the backdrop of the Majesty's Inn. When Hive account@dreemsteem finalised the partners for the challenge this week, we realised that we had an odd number of people so I stepped back...but I was oh so sad as I love Dreemport Challenges, and especially the partner and teem ones! I went along to Hive account@penderis and asked him if he would be my partner for the next 3 weeks. Despite the facts that he does not like contests and that I am by default, along with everyone else, on the blacklist, he relented without much pressure...and agreed to be my partner.

We chat on each other's posts, on the posts of 3rd parties and in discord. There is a dry sense of humour in there that I find irresistible. He is a top guy. I love the music that he shares with me, the hilarious gifs, and the daily banter. He's also a deep thinker, and an intellectual, and I love that! When I had writer's block yesterday evening, he sent me his own sentence starter to get the creative juices flowing and then checked in on me during the evening as I wrote.

He is also a wonderful designer... and who knows, after our amusing brainstorming session today, he may even produce a teem banner for us this weekend.

Pen is a wonderfully supportive person and somebody that I consider to be my friend. Maybe one day I will be released from the black list... one can only hope.
