Hi dearies, happy Valentine's weekend, trust you are enjoying it, and also showing love to others.
Well, I'm just indoors because I'm kinda ill, but I must share my experience over the week, and if I can't say all now, I will continue in my next post. My week was great, but I had to let go of some things, hmm
Two weeks earlier I went for an interview at blue orange hotel in lagos for the role of Human resource manager (HR) and I was told I will be called to resume at another newly opened hotel by boulevard at ogun state so I was still doing my teaching job with my lovely students not until this week I received a message although my phone got spoilt so I had to call to know what the message was about then I was told to resume next day wich was Thursday knowing I had not cleared myself from my former work place and I have not sub mitted my resignation letter I can’t just leave without normal procedures so I had to plea to resume Friday for staff onboarding. Although I already informed the principal two weeks ago that I would be leaving once I am called for the new job, it made it much easier for me to just submit my resignation letter and leave. To be sincere, leaving was not easy because I was already enjoying my time with the kids. I was just so calm on my last day of work, but I just had to move. I will say more about my last day as a kindergarten teacher in my next post.
Continuing my previous talk about my new job, I was to resume by 9:00 am on Friday, but I got there by 10:00 am because of traffic from Lagos to Ogun State, and I had left my house as early as 6:00 am, which I know is late because of how traffic can be at times. Before leaving the house that morning I was having stomach upset, I though it was just a minor thing, on my way to ogun state I was as good as oky not until I got into the board room where the meeting was carried out my body temperature started increasing I was so uncomfortable the air conditioner was too much for me but I didn’t want to inconvienence others so I had to mange meeting ended by 2:30Ppm at this point I was so weak and couldn't help myself, thanks to the sales manager who helped me get water because I had not taken any meal or water till that time, so I went to the pharmacy and got medications I was given a room to stay, but it felt like I couldn’t stay alone for the weekend so I had to go home and that was another 5hrs journey.
All thanks to God, I got home safe, and that was by 10:00 pm, and that’s all for the day. Thanks for your time and attention. Have a great week ahead.
